Introduction :
Patients with end stage renal diseases (ESRD) are in a continuous inflammatory process due to several factors. Anemia is a feature of renal failure mainly due to insufficient production of the hormone- erythropoietin (EPO) , which stimulates the bone marrow to produce mature red blood cells.
Aim to work:
Is To assess the hepcidin level and its relation to, inflammatory status , hemoglobin level, and iron status in patients with ESRD.
