Zusammenfassung: The present study was conducted in order to compare the effect of non-surgical therapy using TC fibers versus surgical therapy of modified widman flap procedure in patints suffering from adult periodontis 20 patients were selected in this study , their ages ranged from 35 to 50years , diagnosed suffering from adult periodontitis according to the criteria discribed by the american academy of periodontology 1989. The selected patients were in good general health and had no history of antibiotic therapy in the previous 6 month or allergy to tetracycline. All patients exhibited pocket depth ≥5mm in relation to their lower right or left posterior segments .
