Specimen Preparation: Reception: All specimens received must be accompanied by a complete surgical pathology request, containing all details and surgeon signature. All specimens must be clearly labeled with patient identifications: name, age, medical history and type of biopsy. Lymph node biopsy must companied by full blood picture. Then, log all specimens immediately in pathology log book by number. If received two or more specimen for the same patient, give them the same histology logged number and A, B, C, etc. | ||
